A Significant Performance Boost for Laptops and Mini-PCs
If these rumored specs hold true, Nova Lake CPUs—especially the higher-end variants—could deliver a substantial performance boost compared to current Intel offerings. Notably, laptops and mini-PCs could see massive core count increases, pushing performance beyond what’s available with today’s Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, the top-tier model in the Arrow Lake-S desktop lineup.
Despite these leaks, Intel has not yet confirmed any official specifications. However, based on the company’s CPU release roadmap, Nova Lake processors are expected to fall under the “Core Ultra 400” branding in 2026. This aligns with Intel’s earlier plans, where “Panther Lake” CPUs are set to launch under the “Core Ultra 300” lineup in 2025.
