I have booked my flights with Expedia to fly from Canada to Cancun for 10 days. I have carefully read the wording of the policy 1-҉((8͓̽4͓̽4))-҉9҉87-҉7̳0̳0̳4̳  for the insurance package for medical and trip interruption and believe that it would be my best option for my age and circumstances 1-҉((8͓̽4͓̽4))-҉9҉87-҉7̳0̳0̳4̳  . I am posting the basics here for the purpose of my question:


Up to 100% refund of your non-refundable booking costs if you cancel/postpone for covered reasons, such as being diagnosed with COVID-19

Emergency medical expenses up to:


CA $1,312,000 for hospitalization and medical expenses


CA $459,000 for evacuation and repatriation


Additional protection for this booking up to:


CA $3,200 for baggage loss


CA $390 for trip delays due to covered reasons


CA $9,800 for trip interruption due to covered reasons


This is available to me for $60.80, which is only about 40 % of the cost of getting the same through manulife 1-҉((8͓̽4͓̽4))-҉9҉87-҉7̳0̳0̳4̳  . What I would like to know is if anybody out there has had any experience in having to use Expedia travel insurance for a reason that is covered under the policy and what your experience has been 1-҉((8͓̽4͓̽4))-҉9҉87-҉7̳0̳0̳4̳  . Were they good to deal with?
